This project involved the construction of front and rear single-storey extensions alongside a full ground floor refurbishment, transforming a mid-terrace property in St Albans.
The homeowners wanted to create a larger, open-plan kitchen and dining area while also increasing the size of the existing living room to better accommodate their growing family.
A rear extension was built to provide additional space for the new kitchen and dining area, while the front extension expanded the living room. As part of the refurbishment works, a disused cupboard was converted into a practical downstairs shower room.
The ground floor was completely modernised with a new oak staircase featuring glass balustrades, new laminate flooring, internal doors, architraves, skirting boards and full re-plastering throughout.
